Doug was the finest football quarterback Evanston High School produced. He led the Wildkits to a 31-0-1 four-year record. His attendance at Purdue University was overshadowed by Bob Griese's arrival in 1963, and he never received the recognition he deserved in college.

Miss you Doug. We lived across the street from each other on Judson Ave in Evanston. What an outstanding athlete.
